Absolutely!!
There's no way anyone can tell me that this isn't the case. Black needs to work on his mic skills but besides that, he's every bit the wrestler that Sheamus is. He's far more entertaining to watch imo and has a lot more experience in the ring. The buckle bomb is also a great move that looks scary. God's last gift is comparable to Sheamus's Razor's Edge. Sheamus is still very "green" and if not for being HHH's lifting partner I seriously doubt he'd have the push he's had so far.
How about WWE World Champ Rey Mysterio?
Please don't make me laugh...while Mysterio is talented, there's no way I see him over Black outside the WWE unless ROH was simply trying to use his name, which I'm sure they would if he ever went there of course. But in all seriousness Black is much better to watch in the ring. Mysterio is pushed as some kind of amazing "Giant killer and it's rather ridiculous. He's an excellent "Luchadore" but that's it, nothing more. Tyler is a much more "rounded" wrestler.
Could ROH TV Champ Eddie Edwards

Eddie wrestles circles around Kingston every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Eddie would fit perfectly in the Chris Benoit/Eddie Guerrero mold and as such would make Kingston look like the noob he is. This isn't even a fair comparison, seriously. Kofi has some nice moves, if you can get past the "boom boom/fake Jamaican shtick" but he's clearly no match for Edwards.
Could the ROH Tag champs The Kings of Wrestling Stand a shot against the WWE's Hart Dynasty?

So there you have it, the ROH champs easily hold their own against WWE champs. As hard as this is to admit, "The Miz" may be the toughest opponent for any ROH champion. Seriously, The Miz has come a long, long way on the mic and in the ring and it would be an "honor" to have him in ROH and I'd love to see him face Tyler, Edwards, or any ROH stand outs. The WWE champs on this page need not apply, we've already got much, much better!
